Follow along as we build a shelter in the woods. We chose a shelter kit for our homestead that should be perfect for protecting our gear and creating outdoor storage space. 🌲🛠️ It can even serve as a temporary shelter for Pepper, our Kubota track loader.

Sometimes, off-grid living calls for practical solutions to protect tools, equipment, and other essentials from the elements. In this episode, we assemble a metal-framed, fabric-covered shelter that offers both durability and versatility for outdoor storage.

With a focus on easy setup and functionality, we take you through each step of the process—from preparing the site to securing the structure. We brought our Kubota skid steer over to the island on our lake barge and use it to help prepare the site. This shelter is an excellent temporary solution for keeping items safe and dry until more permanent options, like a larger shop, are built.
