Life on a remote island means building everything from the ground up, and today we’re tackling a new off grid project—building a new road 🚜 to expand our homestead! With new cabins planned and more space needed, it’s time to carve out better access routes and make the most of our wild terrain.

We are excited that members of our family want to come to the island to experience off grid life with us! So we’re preparing a place for new living spaces by clearing out the ruins next door to the tiny cabin.

While Melodi is away off island, Ryan surprises her with a brand-new road, making debris removal easier and preparing for future builds.
