It is a real concern, especially on an island where we want to keep everything pristine. We sure don’t want our water source contaminated!

As we return to our island, it feels more like home each time. Everything looks great, and we can’t wait to get started on our projects. The cabin is ready for some love, and we have exciting plans ahead!

Exploring our surroundings, we notice how the water levels change each year. This allows us to enjoy more land during the summer and autumn months, making our walks even more pleasant. The beauty of the Canadian wilderness never ceases to amaze us!

We are thrilled to have found an wonderful little antique stove and Shane at Vintage Stove Restorations did a beautiful job restoring it. It’s not just a functional piece; it adds charm to our cabin. Installing it is a bit of a challenge, but with a little teamwork, we manage to get it done.

On a misty morning, we reflect on the progress we’ve made. The serenity of our surroundings reminds us why we chose this lifestyle. It’s moments like these that make everything worthwhile.

Now, let’s get to the topic that brought us here: the incinerator toilet. Our previous bathroom facilities were less than ideal, and we knew we needed a better solution. After much research, we decided to invest in an electric Cinderella incinerator toilet. It wasn’t an easy choice due to the cost, but we believe it will be worth it in the long run. Our toilet will actually be solar powered – how cool is that?
