Let the Sun Shine In…
Clearing land is really tough work. We are learning to work smarter, not harder with our new amazing homesteading tool. Say hello to our new stump removal tool. It’s incredible! Having a bench is nice to put our things on while we work. Ryan has gotten those solar panels back up, and it’s time to button them up and make them more secure. We’re also organizing and preparing for our greenhouse.
What’s all that noise about?
There’s a lot of noise today because Ryan is clearing the area for our greenhouse. We want to get it ready for planting our trees, grapes, peppers, and tomatoes. Everything out here is a lot of work, but it’s exciting to see progress. We’ve been leveling out the area, and it’s starting to look much better. We’re hoping to have our DIY greenhouse build set up soon.
Robin’s Egg… Periwinkle?
We have some new equipment for our homestead, including a powerful miter saw and a table saw. These tools are essential as we tackle projects around the property. The weather is wild today, and we’re heading out to check on everything, but thankfully, the solar panels are getting charged up. It’s so nice to have power in our cabin for cooking and baking.
Plants for the Greenhouse
We’re excited about the greenhouse! We have heirloom seeds ready to go, and we’re hoping for a bountiful harvest this year. It’s important to get the greenhouse up so we can start planting. We’ve even discussed putting our potting bench in the greenhouse to make planting easier. The space is looking more organized, and we can’t wait to see the results!
The ‘After’ Shot…
Earlier today, the area was full of debris and stumps. Ryan has done an amazing job clearing it up, making it look much better! This amazing homesteading tool – our new stump auger – has been a game changer. It works precisely and creates less mess compared to traditional methods. We’re really impressed with how well it handles the stumps.
Thoughts on our Deck
As we continue our work, we’re considering how to design our deck and where to place everything. We want to make the area functional and beautiful, ensuring we can enjoy our homestead. The progress is slow but steady, and we’re excited to see where it leads us.
